Blue Ruin #25

Born into a blue-blood Virginian family, Blue Ruin knew from an early age she was not made for the life of a debutante. As a young girl, she joined a troupe of vagabond theater folk, learning the facts of life and how to hold her liquor from these naughty thespians. Eventually a band of seductive Dead Heads took her by the hand and swept her permanently down rivers less traveled. After several years living in the wilderness with young ruffians, Blue Ruin landed in the Pacific Northwest. While she was settled and happy enough, for years she felt there could be more to her life. Finally, one dark rainy night, she witnessed the Furies swooping down, reaping vengeance upon a group of sinners and she realized she had found her soul sisters. Never again would there be a hole in her heart.
