Alluya R. Doomed #79
Alluya moved to Eugene in 2001 to attend the University of Oregon. She developed an obsession for ballet and trained classically for 9 years. She married her high school sweetheart after 12 years in 2007. After returning from her honeymoon, she met a new friend. This new friend, Buck-Her-Roo, somehow got her to agree to try out for roller derby without even knowing what it was. Alluya’s first glimpse of roller derby was during ‘07 Fall Brawl. She thought, “Oh No! What have I agreed to do? I could never do what those strong hot women are doing.” Well she dragged her feet to the tryouts thinking surely that she would never make it. After all, she only went to SkateWorld 7 times. Well she just barely made the cut. She nervously drove to her first practice thinking that she couldn’t possible LIKE it. One year later, she had her first bout experience with her team, The Andromedolls. She felt the roar of the crowd and the humming of her body and knew this was one of the greatest things she had ever done!
