Jenesis O’Sin #10
Brought up to be a good Irish girl, Jenesis spent her early life sheltered within the black and white morality and heroic fantasy of picture books. But in a small town where people from both sides of the tracks only knew how to do wrong right, the shiny fruits of temptation were always dangling. This girl learned quickly that the lessons from her stories just didn’t apply to the gritty-grey real world. If she couldn’t embody the change she wished to see in the world; then she would settle for being the trouble nobody wanted to see coming. Soon enough Jenesis was trading body shots and body blows with the best of the worst, a devil may care attitude her only constant wherever she went. For years she wandered, never meeting a dirty deed or rough and tumble type she didn’t like. Until one fateful night when, with a bellyful of Jameson’s, Jenesis committed one wicked act too many. With piercings cries and blood dripping from their eyes, the Furies descended from the heavens to smite Jenesis for her many crimes. As they looked upon her they saw in her a spark of potential – a longing to live a life outside of the ordinary, a life of legend. So the Furies offered Jenesis a deal: repent all her sins and join their ranks, or be buried in the dirt where she crouched. Knowing it was better to skate on her feet than die on her knees Jenesis acceded, and has spent all her time since meting out punishment on the flat track with her furious brethren.
